Dear Quarry Family,
We want to update you on how our church body is approaching the spread of COVID-19. After a day of prayerful consideration, consultation with governing board members, and key leaders and upon recommendation from the Minnesota Department of Health, we will be offering online-only services tomorrow. There will be NO GATHERING at the Quarry building this Sunday. Our current plan is to have services available for streaming on our website and Facebook at our usual meeting times, 9 am and 10:30 am. We will send out a communication with details on how you can tune in.
This decision was not made out of fear. No one in our church body, to our knowledge, has been infected with the virus. Because of the virulence of the novel coronavirus and our concern for the physical safety of our church and the people we love, practicing social distancing during this season is our best protection against the rapid spread of COVID-19.
Just like every Sunday, we have planned a fantastic time of worship. This week we continue our series: "Anxious for Nothing". During these uncertain times, anxiety can get the best of us. Take a breath. Peace is possible. Tune in tomorrow and discover how to change your perspective from pressure to praise. We will also be leading your family in singing and communion so grab some bread and juice! Our hope is that in the home environment, your entire family can worship together, so take advantage of this unique opportunity.
Due to the ongoing fluidity of the COVID-19 outbreak, we will be continually evaluating all future services and meetings. So please stay connected as we decide each Wednesday and weekend what is best.
For now, know that God loves you. He’s got this and he’s got you!
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Praying health, peace, and God’s favor on each of you!
Pastor Michael, Steve Richards, Ben Watkins
